Preparation (At the end of combat on your turn if this creature is tapped put a +1/+1 counter on it. When this deals combat damage to a player remove all +1/+1 counters from this)
If you just put this on a vanilla creature it means that it is a little bigger after the first time it attacks and it gets temporarily bigger when it is chump blocked or tapped down. It has a bit of synergy with combat tricks or anything else that can trick/force your opponent into a chump block. It has another layer when you can put it on a little utility creature that you can tap for value early game and then use it as a blocker or one good attack later.
I'm concerned that it doesn't add enough value/excitement compared with bookkeeping and the nonbo with other +1/+1 counter cards. This could be changed to "When this becomes tapped, if it is your turn, put a +1/+1 counter on it." that would make the mechanic look better because you would use the counter more but I don't think having to mark that every turn is necessarily a good thing.
